Once you’ve chosen your ideal bike, ordering is super simple! Just place your order online, and after Decathlon’s quick check, you’ll receive your confirmation. Your bike will then be delivered either to your home or to a nearby Decathlon store — fully assembled and ready to ride within just a few days.

As soon as your bike arrives at the store of your choice, we’ll contact you to pick it up. It will be fully assembled, ready to ride, and equipped with all the accessories included in your long-term rental contract

Everything you need to ride worry-free: your bike, unlimited maintenance, repairs, and adjustments, service in case of theft & damage, plus delivery or pick-up at one of our stores available. One simple price — no hidden costs.

Which bikes are available for long-term rental?

We offer a wide range: kids’ bikes for every age, electric city bikes for effortless commuting, and cargo bikes for families or heavy loads. Whether it’s for daily rides, weekend adventures, or family logistics — we’ve got the perfect bike for you.

Where is my rented bike delivered?

You choose what’s easiest: pick up your bike in any of our stores available. As soon as your bike is ready, you’ll receive an email notification to come collect it, complete with all the accessories and mandatory items you need to enjoy your ride. At the end of your rental, simply return it to the same store — quick and stress-free.

What happens if my bike gets stolen?

No stress. Long-term rental by Decathlon includes theft and damage service powered by our partner Laka.

If your bike is stolen, you simply need to:

  1. Report the theft to the police within 2 working days.
  2. Submit the required information through our online claims platform.

If all conditions are met, your contract will be terminated and you won’t have to pay anything further. Ride worry-free — we’ve got you covered.

Am I the owner during the rental period?

No — Decathlon remains the owner of the bike throughout the entire rental period. The bike cannot be purchased during or after your contract. You’re simply renting it to enjoy a fully serviced, worry-free ride.

What happens if I want to end my contract before the end of the commitment period?

If you decide to end your contract early, you can return your bike at one of our available stores. However, since your rental was agreed for a fixed term, Decathlon will apply a penalty equal to one month’s fee plus 10% of the remaining payments.

If you’re unsure about your future needs, we recommend choosing a shorter commitment period for greater flexibility.

Do I need to pay a deposit or upfront fee?

No big upfront costs. Just your first monthly payment — and you’re ready to ride. We believe in making cycling accessible, not complicated.

What is included in the maintenance and repairs confort Pack?

Everything you need to keep your bike in perfect condition is included — at no extra cost. This covers:

  • Regular servicing and safety checks (brakes, gears, tires, chain, lights)
  • Wear-and-tear parts such as brake pads, inner tubes, tires, and chains
  • Repairs for punctures, mechanical issues, and adjustments
  • Replacement of defective parts when needed

All maintenance can be carried out directly in-store by our Decathlon technicians. Simply book a visit at your preferred store whenever your bike needs attention — we’ll handle the rest.

How do I sign up and how fast can I get my bike?

Signing up takes just a few minutes online. Simply choose your bike, select your rental plan, and pick your preferred store for collection. Once your order is confirmed, our team prepares and checks your bike for you.
In most cases, your bike will be ready within 2 weeks — and we’ll notify you by email as soon as it’s available for pick-up.

Can I swap or upgrade my bike during the rental?

At this stage, bike swaps or upgrades aren’t possible. Your contract is for a fixed term, and you’ll keep the same bike for the entire rental period.
